FASCINATING INSIGHTS INTO LIFE

There are full of negative perceptions about life. And we take everything for granted without much appreciation. We tend to dig into others' weaknesses simply to glorify ourselves. Instead, we should ponder over their plight as a lifeline for our successful and harmonious future endeavours. "We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give" Sir Winston Churchill

Once Ousted, Consider Finished

Thaksin Shinawatra was walking out of the United Nations building just shortly after he received news that he had been overthrown, when a New Yorker stopped him to ask:
"Sir, are you a Thai?"

The policeman turned tycoon turned politician replied:
"No sir, I am Fin-nish."

Walking off in a huff, he received a telephone call from a military officer in Bangkok,
"Thaksin here, I am still at the UN, what is this talk about a coup? Tell me what\'s happening?"

He shouted angrily,
"My ministers and generals told me they loved me, hugged me and kissed my hand. Some even cried before I left, this can't be true, right?"

The reply from the other line was:
"Sir, they want me to tell you that UN means You End."

I like this nicely phrased joke although it sounds cruel to the person concerned. That is the heavy price a politician has to pay. Politics is hugely competitive, combative and dirty . There are winners and losers. Likewise, it has its very ups and very downs. Politician is a man who intimately acquainted with risk. His propensity for risk-taking is incredibly amazing. It is a rule of life that if you take no risks, you will suffer no defeats. But if you take no risks, you will win no victories. The politician's life is closely related to the extremely fragile glasses, "Once ousted, Consider finished". In short, one has to bear all the grave consequences in politics oneself. Your comrades will certainly disappear to nowhere once you are ousted!!! eik...eik... eik....politicssss......... ss.
